This program reflects the Government of Nova Scotia's commitment to persons with disabilities by providing equal opportunity and improved access to community facilities.

Rebate is equal to the lesser of $375.00 or the provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) paid on the purchase of a computer by an eligible person or on behalf of an eligible person who is physically or visually or hearing impaired or mentally challenged.

Rebate is equal to the lesser of $3,750.00 or the provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) paid on the purchase of a motor vehicle by a person or to transport a person who has lost the complete use of both lower limbs.

This fund is a federal Grants and Contributions program that supports capital costs of construction and renovations related to improving accessibility in the workplace and community.

This is a savings plan intended to help parents and others save for the long term financial security of a person who is eligible for the disability tax credit.

The disability amount is a non-refundable tax credit that a person with a severe and prolonged impairment in physical or mental functions can claim to reduce the amount of income tax he or she has to pay in a year.

This program refunds a portion of the federal excise tax on gasoline bought for use by eligible persons or organizations.

This program provides pensions and benefits when contributors retire, become disabled, or die.
